Looks like a spy photo (taken behind the bushes!). :-))) Another GREAT pic, Berndt!

Lurssen has unquestionably built the most remarkable super-yachts in history. Octopus (HDW), Limitless, Canthia VII, SKAT, Capri, Pelorus... they will forever remain etched in our memories for decades to come.

Thank you for sharing this photo! I hope one day that we'll have interior shots of some of the previously mentioned watermarks.

Berndt,

I re-sized these images to better accomodate viewers and members with smaller displays / lower resolution and allow quicker dial-up downloads.

Hope this is OK. :-)

Pelorus-Fuel problems

Hello, does anyone have informations about the bad fuel that has been used to tank Pelorus this sommer? I read that it cost to RA more than 180 millions of euros to solve the problem! Thank you

that figure is very unrealistic and probably exceeds the value of the yacht.

an onboard system detected the fuel had too high water content when she bunkered at Malta and shut the systems down. unlikely for any major damage to have occurred as she departed under own power.

RA is in the paper today having made the biggest deal in Russian history by selling his company Sibneft to Russian state company Gazprom for $13 billion

he bought Sibneft in 1995 with Boris Berezovsky for about $175 million. it is estimated he will earn himself about $9 billion from the deal.

Pelorus has been cruising the Eastern Med for more than a month and arrived in a shipyard in Malta today. Probably for maintenance works.
