Review: Lurssen's "Queen M"

A hatchway on the lower deck opens into the machinery room. Inside are Twin 2.320 kW MTU engines for ship’s propulsion and high-powered generators of 332 kW each, plus one additional 228kW back-up. Only one of these is necessary for the ship’s electrical operations; the others are safety standbys.
Exhaust Resonation Chambers. (mufflers to the laymen ) Seriously, a set of catalytic converters clean soot collectors and convert black water.
Engine Room Walkway. Not shown is the control room, where the chief engineer monitors some 360 sensors connected to software. These continually analyze function of the engines and other equipment.
Lurssen, with its 125 years of experience building yachts, fishing boats, and naval craft, can be justly proud of this latest, magnificent yacht-building accomplishment – truly an outstanding yacht, quite well fitted out for patrician use..

Queen M is definitely royalty, in every sense of the word.

Editorial by Carl Camper and Chuck Gnaegy.
