It sure is big! The press photos that have been released by Lurssen don't give the viewer a true idea of her size, but the following picture puts things in perspective. Docked to the left of Queen M in this picture is Palmer Johnson's 123' "Big City".

Queen M should be named Big City! ;)

A close up of Queen M is an oxymoron... you can't get close up to take a picture w/o a wide angle lens.

For you offshore guys... a Nortech Cat is idling through the channel at Port Everglades.

Any way you can get some close up shots from the dock? Looking forward to them!

In the midst of moving the office this week. I'll try to get down to the docks in a couple of weeks. If she's still there... you got it!

Thanks for all the pictures and the great write up, Carl, especialy like the pics of details we don't usually get to see. :)

In the write up it's mentioed that Queen M has "storage of large quantities of food and supplies for weeks-long voyages without pausing to replenish".

Which brings me to the question, how long could a normal megayacht go before she'd need to put in for supplies?

Does anyone know what the "M" stands for in Queen M?

Great thread, stunning yacht, bit too much yellow in the furniture though.

Queen M is at the Lürssen yard in Lemwerder at present, due to insiders she gets a change in the cabin interior of the guest cabins.

Queen M apparently sold and is being handed over to the new owner(s) in Barcelona...

I think that she looks much better this way. Doesn't seem to look as top heavy and seems to be more sleek looking.

I wonder if she has anything to do with the Kismet. She is painted in the same grey and and same styling as far as the Kismet goes and even has the same red and white boot as the Kismet. Above all things was renamed Queen K
She looks better this way though. I am glad she turned out this way.

I somehow do not like that addition to the back of the sun deck...you can clearly see that it was an addition.. it did not fit in propperly it just sticks out.
