Johnson 87' Enclosed Pilothouse

Spotted along the intracoastal on Hillsboro Beach, the latest edition to the Johnson line-up... The 87' Enclosed Bridge. Some may like this look, some may not. But you really have to go onboard to appreciate the lay-out, features and craftsmenship. BIG yacht features... small yacht price.

the original raised pilot house version was nice and also a fresh design, but this seems too ambitious.

Cool poor mans gallant lady...please!

this is a beautiful and striking yacht I have visited their web site and the interiors are gorgeous!!its good to see some creativity on products that see very little external changes over many years normally.ambitious, yes but very cool!!

Hmm, I don't know about Johnsons and craftmanship:

A few years ago I was running a Johnson 70 for a guy here in Ft. Lauderdale. Although the boat was pretty inside with fancy interior, etc nothing worked.

Spent a month getting all the bugs worked out and the boat was only 6 months old when I stepped aboard.
Poking in the corners and behind fancy furniture, it was a bit rough in the retails.

Perhaps they have improved with the new 87 series, but the 70 was like a big Sea Ray.
