New Build: ISA 50-meter
ISA announces the sale of a new 50-meter yacht to a new client. The "ISA 500" tri-deck is based on ISA's recent 48-meter platform. It will have a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.
In a unique departure, the transom has no stairway. Instead, it has two doors that swing wide open, giving access to the "beach room", creating a versatile area for water toys, refreshments of just relaxing water side. In addition, a large guest tender compartment adjoins the beach room and is launched via a side hull door.
The vast sundeck, over 17-meters long, sports a pool, sunbathing area and integrated drink bar. A central dining table is situated under a space-frame roll bar (radar arch!), which doubles as sunshade.
The new ISA 500 will be motivated by twin MTU 12V4000 M71 engines, pushing the 50-meter yacht to max speed of 16.7 knots and cruise of 14.5 knots. Delivery of the vessel is schedules for late spring 2010.
