Horizon Elegance 60 Open - A New Concept
Recently, the Horizon Group’s Vision Shipyard has unveiled the Elegance 60 Open Sport Yachts project, which is referred to as the most important evolution of the Elegance Series. Following the successful design of the sister ship Elegance 60, Vision Yachts is cooperating with the Horizon Group’s European Distributor, Drettmann, in developing a new 60’ Open Sport Yacht.
This new yacht is a combination of contemporary, modern lines and advanced techniques. The President of Vision Yachts, Austin Lin explains, “This project is going to be exciting as we have implemented lots of new ideas while planning the layout. In collaboration with Albert Drettmann who is sharing year’s of experience with us, we are sure to meet our customers’ satisfaction.”
Elegance 60 Open Sport Yachts bring an entirely different concept to Horizon’s existing models. The owners can experience blue skies and open seas through the wide surrounding windows. A functional cockpit, sliding sunroof and transom garage with Hi/Lo platform make for ultimate yachting joy. Most importantly, the interior has been carefully planned to ensure every space is efficiently used without sacrificing comfort.
For example, the technical, innovative floating helm station design attempts to create an uninterrupted flow of the modern layout and offers abundant walkway headroom for the lower deck. Customers can choose between designs for 2 or 3 electrically adjustable helm chairs depending on their needs. In addition, the wide surrounding P & S windows and sliding sunroof design easily turns the indoor yachting experience into outdoor fun.
The new 60 Open Sport Yachts series features three beautifully appointed fashion staterooms and two heads. The thoughtful interior planning and unique material selection provide the entire accommodation space a fresh, contemporary feel. The upcoming debut will be at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2009 in Germany.
