Horizon News

March 21, 2008:Horizon Premier Shipyard: To enhance customer relations and service, the Horizon Group has embarked upon the institution of a new 'Delivery Center'.

The brand new Delivery Center is located next to the Premier Shipyard on the waterfront. After motor yachts have been completed from the shipyards, they will be sent to the Delivery Center where professional inspectors will conduct ''checks including sea trial, installation check, and cabin work checks."

To assure the highest quality, the Horizon Shipyard will only deliver a yacht to its owner (s) if it has gone through the rigorous tests by the inspectors. Horizon's aim is to improve the quality of their megayachts by utilizing quality management methodologies.

Major representation

April 18, 2008: Horizon Yachts: "outstanding representation at the Palm Beach Show: Horizon Yachts America represented well at the recently concluded Palm Beach International Boat Show with a number of Horizon Yachts on show.

"The Horizon East Coast dealer, Horizon America, featured the newly delivered 107 trideck "Adriana III", 95 RPH "Arrigoderci", 86 enclosed bridge "Xanadu" and the 76 open bridge "Sweet Janine" at this year’s display."

According to them it has been the largest line-up at any United States boat show and also the diversity of their builds represented was heartening to witness.

Even the owners of each boat represented were on hand to answer questions and so on. "The owners of each of the boats were on board during the entire show providing valuable insights on the Horizon build process and final product. It is a tremendous benefit when a customer asks "what does the owner like about Horizon" and the owners are right there on cue to say wonderful things about the boats and the dealers. Who better to explain how to "Define your Horizon" than those who already have."

May 09, 2008: Horizon Elegance 88: "After a year of intense discussions and examinations, the design for the previously introduced new 87’ model has been finalized, and acquired its name, “Horizon Elegance 88”. The first vessel is expected to be delivered to her owner in early 2009."

According to Horizon Yachts, the idea for the new design came as a result of wanting to create a new 88 foot yacht with a contemporary flair but still retained the genes of the 'elegance' family of Horizon Yachts. "With this model Horizon is targeting a younger demographic who prefers a modern design in combination with classical lines and the solid quality one expects from a Horizon yacht."

John H.V. Lindblom is the designer for this new and exciting yacht from Horizon. Mr Lindblom is no stranger to Horizon Yachts and has worked with them in the past and his work is manifested in the 76 and 105 foot models of the 'elegance series'. Lindblom asserted that he was satisfied with the design. "I am definitely convinced that this new Horizon Elegance 88 model will be appreciated by customers worldwide and a worthy member of the Horizon family."

Horizon Yachts highlights that the Elegance 88 will be available to customers in a sky lounge and fly-bridge verson. As indicated the first model will be delivered to her owner in early 2009.

Horizon says thank you

Horizon says thank you

Quote:
Dear Horizon friends,

First, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all your concern for the Horizon Group after Typhoon ‘Morakot’ devastated Southern Taiwan two weeks ago. I am glad that all Horizon Group member companies were left undamaged by this so called “most powerful Typhoon of Taiwan.” On the other hand, I am grieved to hear about other Typhoon disaster news reported by the Media.

The Typhoon ‘Morakot’ has brought tremendous destruction to our small island. Its record rainfall caused flooding, landslides, bridge collapses, and damaged houses. Many people have been forced to evacuate their homes or are waiting for rescue in the disaster areas. It is a great tragedy that while we should be celebrating Father’s Day, many have lost beloved family members on the departure of Typhoon ‘Morakot’.

Here at Horizon, everything has remained unchanged. If it were not for the media, we would not know how others are suffering in the disaster areas. We thank God for blessing Horizon. In these difficult times, we have learned that we have the ability to help others. We have found many warm hearts around us while we are in sorrow. I was touched by the charitable action taken by all our employees. They have established a fund in the last few days and asked me to donate the raised money to the city government in order to help the victims settle and rebuild their homes. It is my honor to be able to represent Horizon in this capacity. I sincerely hope that our effort will encourage other people to join us in giving the victims the strength to restore their life to normal as soon as possible.

Thanks again for all your concerns, may God bless Taiwan and all our friends as well.

Yours truly,

John Lu
Horizon Group CEO
