Horizon unveils new Power Catamaran 58'
Horizon Yachts has entered the luxury power catamaran market with the introduction of the HORIZON PC58, a luxury cruising Power Catamaran. The PC-58 is currently under construction using the patented SCRIMP resin infused system and will incorporate the ZF Joystick Maneuvering System (JMS) plus ZF Fly-by-wire Steering System. The HORIZON PC58′s modern, clean styling is by Winchester Design Group of Jupiter, Florida. The overall look and feel is elegantly designed and resembles that of a luxury mono-hull yacht which is a welcome departure from the typical clumsy look of catamarans.
Naval architect and recognized multihull authority, Lavranos Marine Design of Auckland, New Zealand, developed the tank tested hulls. The semi-displacement symmetric hulls are highly efficient and their wide footprint ensures excellent seakeeping. The yachts structural, electrical and general systems are engineered by Horizon Yacht’s in-house Engineers and Naval Architects.
The HORIZON PC58 is purposely designed, engineered and built to be a dependable and functional live-aboard cruising yacht, specifically to meet the demands of the most discerning cruising yachtsman.
