Horizon "AquaCat 80" Catamaran Coming Soon​

After intensive research and numerous tests, the Horizon Group announces the new Catamaran with the official name, “AquaCat 80” as the project is proceeding to the production stage. This 81-foot economical cruising Catamaran is the Horizon Group's second environmentally friendly model and fulfills yet another green dream.

In collaboration with famous Australian naval architect Mark Ellis, the new AquaCat 80 catamaran design is derived from the need to meet the demand for greater onboard comfort at sea. Compared to monohull designs, twin-round bilge slender hull provides superior stability, faster acceleration and higher top speeds, more efficiency, and greater suitability for long-range cruising, especially for those people who live aboard for extended periods.

The accommodations aboard include a main deck owners’ suite, two double guest cabins and two “bunk rooms” for the kids. The bridge has been arranged with a skylounge, which can be converted to an additional cabin should a captain be employed or additional guests carried. Future configurations may include a sun deck fitted with a spa.
