Yacht scrap yards

Hi guys,

A long time ago I have seen some pictures in a dutch boating magazine from scrap yards for yachts. The pictures where made in france or Italy. Who knows it there are still today these scrap yards for yacht around the Meditereanean, on the picture that I have seen where old luxury motoyachts sailyachts and even broken pwc's on one place.

Its verry intresting for if you need old parts etc.

Who knows it the are there still today somewhere

Ciao

'Sailorman' is a junkyard masquerading as a marine store for used stuff and is located on State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale.

There is also a marine flea market ( who knew fish had fleas? ) that takes place in Dania Beach in a few weeks.

Or, go visit your local boatyard and ask where they keep their old junk--- piled up out back, no doubt.

There is a yellow rag called 'Boats & Harbors' ( the marine bookstore has a copy or two ) that is the 'Hemmings' of the commercial boat world.

I'll bet the Administrator's gears are grinding at the thought of adding a TOTALLY NEW space in these pages devoted specifically to listing marine junk in the classifieds.

Or maybe not.
