Assorted Yacht Shots and Other Things

I take a lot of photos as part of my many jobs, but also for fun, as I come across some interesting aspects and angles. And as I haven't posted a bunch in a while, here is a new batch from my travels the past several weeks around Ft Lauderdale. Enjoy!

Photo #1 - Maratani X - Hard to see but the railings all around are gold
Photo #2 - Yacht on the rails at Bradford
Photo #3 - Some local vessels from above
Photo #4 - Tanks a lot
Photo #5 - Some Offshore yachts

Great shots Capt Tom. Just curious, what type of camera(s) do you shoot with.

Thanks everyone.
Glad to share some of the sights of South Florida. For many years while living in New York, I would live precariously through all the glossy magazines thinking how cool it would be to live in an all-year round yachting location. Now that I'm here, just want to give a little back.
Sharky, I'm using a Nikon D50. I shoot everything in high resolution, in large size. That way if I'm fortunate to sell a photo or two, they're ready to go. I've got about a dozen 1gb SD cards, two batteries, and Nikon 300 flash. All these photos including the aerials were with the 18-55 lens, no telephoto used. Saving my pennies for the D300, maybe next year after they shake out the bugs.
Here are a few more pics.

Photo #1 - True North pointed true east
Photo #2 - True North - very stately looking yacht
Photo #3 - New Hatteras begging for an owner
Photo #4 - Nice Hargrave
Photo #5 - Dolce Far Niente (I think that's the name) at Pier 66

I see that it's registered in Dubai, just don't speak it.
Was told that this 130-foot Westport was being shipped right over there.

The Arabic pronunciation would be "Shawaf Dubai" meaning something like "Dubai Looker".
