I took a cruise up to Palm Beach, a very expensive cruise I might add. I blew a powerhead! One of my connecting rods decided exit through the block. It's not very pretty. While I'm picking up the pieces, here's a few yachts to test your knowledge.

I'm pretty sure our regular members can label 'em in an instant, but I'm wondering if we have any lurkers out there willing to venture a guess.

Here's the first. From the golden wooden age, can you identify who built this yacht and it's approximate age? Here's a hint, it's not a Bayliner and it was built before the Starship Enterprise had warp drive.

Always great to see these.

This one, I know about but I have never seen her before.

She's a 105 ft CBI Navi yacht, a yard near Viareggio Italy.

She was launched as BENDYCTA in 2001 and as far as I know, she still caries that name today.

Design was by Luca Dini. Rather special design like most other boats from CBI.

I believe that Showboats reviewed her as well some time ago.

About the sleek one :

Looks like a Westport but it's not.

Looks like a Crescent but it's not.

Honestly, it looks most of all like a typical US-designed production yacht in the 100 ft range. Not too many of those around our parts of the waterworld and the they resemble each other...

The old woody looks like she has the lines of a classic Burger, - I would guess sometime in the 40's ?? The second could be a Soverign - they're built on westport hulls and finished in B.C. - The CBI Navi is actually 115' she looks shorter because of her tri-deck.

This one is too easy it is a 114' Broward originally named Abracci

The Broward looks like the 115´ Lady Hawke but without the wide arch. So it could be the 113´ Abbracci with a new color scheme similar to Lady Hawke and an added hardtop...? At least it is a mid nineties Broward!

Yes... it's a Broward.

I thought Abracci was originally a 112', but DyD may be right on the 114' stated, as there have been some additions, including a hard top. I don't know why anyone would add 2' to a yacht, but size isn't important (right girls?)

Abbracci was built/launched in 1994/95 and was 113´7" (34.11m) long with a beam of 23´(6.9m). She was first with a lot of design features to make her look longer and lower and the interior was with a theme from southern California/Hawaii. One of the nicer Browards...

Hey, I could have been off on the size a little, but I definitely recognize her from the centerline mast, the hardtop has been added since she was sold.

I wish they had built more like here and Lady Hawke.

I agree with you AMG and DyD, definately one of the nicer Browards. Wish they had built more. Heck... I wish they were still building them!! Abracci stands out because of the rectangular windows, similar to the Westport 98 & 112. When I posted the picture earlier this year, I was betting a few might mistake her for a Soveriegn. Goes to show we have some yacht savvy people onboard.

The Blue one is a CBI NAVI. I came inches to selling one just like it back in 2001. My customer bought a Delta instead.
