Yes, i saw something on that previously. Do you all really think that it is possible? What about security threats? If terroists were threatening to blow up QM2 on her maiden sail what about this vessel that is who knows how much larger?

Terrorist will always be threatening to blow up something, unfortunately. Anything in the world that has any degree of recognizability (is that a word?) will be a potential target. You can't put the world on hold because of that, you just need to be better and smarter.

My, my. Doesn't this strike you as an overly-sensitive and somewhat arrogant statement to include on a publicly-viewed website? Sounds to me like somebody is weary of folks taking pot-shots at a dicey concept.

Sounds more arrogant to me...but i told people that project would be very hard to get off the ground...Sure there are individuals on this planet that can provide the money but will it be feasible?

I have been following this project as an Architect and Engineer and more so as a beleaver in hard to reach projects. The website is slow to update, and having recently emailed them and it bounced I am a little worried. The concept is very risky and if it could float, would people want to live their? I have a lot of questions.

A smaller project was built and they had trouble. That project I think is the Raundasea? Spelling and memory not good today, but that ws to sell or rather lease condos at sea. I think people are warming up to living full time or at least partly on the sea, but the Freadom ship might be to fare to fast.

As for an oil barron investing, this is a very risky project, returns would be low, and where to build it? Maybe all in bits, even Findland I think would be out. A yard would have to look long and hard into it.
