| Yachts on Sea Trials
I just thought of this thread since i didn't see anything on it here on the forum. So thought it would be a good idea to form one so that mabe we can post some information in it to keep abreast of which new yachts a doing seatrials.
For now i was told that the Lurssen 'Eos' is on trials and the Nobiskrug project 777 is also doing extensive trials...

Sounds like a good thread idea.
My current contribution is a little less note-worthy, but I watched some sea trials today... in the form of rub-rail testing. Due to some wild winds, my neighbor's boat got loose and tried to pressure some pilings into submission. The pilings are concrete. The boat was built by Century...
... easy math on the results of this sea trial. |

In addition to the knowledge that the Nobiskrug 777 is out on trials i think we should know her hull is dark - highly glossed blue....here is a nice picture of her in the drydock with all her anchors sprawlled on the floor http://213.131.254.42/netadvance2/_t...721/777_gr.jpg |

Hi,
I read the fact he couldn't get it to work and tried it myself a couple of hours ago. It didn't work then but does work now and did work the other day when I added my comment.
The IP Addy ties up to a German Host, our internet connection has been on and off here today so maybe there was some sort of disruption earlier. The heat here in Germany seems to have effected everything. I heard on the news this morning that the local Nuclear Power station has reached it's max out put and will have to be throttled back as the River that cools it has reached 25 deg C.

The Wally 143 now known as the 'Esense' has successfully completed her sea trials and reportedly crossed a portion of the Atlantic comfortably to reach Croatia.

Surely you mean "Adriatic" with a hurricane and a topical storm in the "Atlantic."
Not sure how a Wally would handle in much more than a mild Med mistral.
Not being picky, just caught my eye. |
