Here's a one-off custom from the early 80's. Who's the builder?

There is a resemblence, but this boat was built in the U.S. for a man who was a good friend of the shipyard's owner.

Christina O is in the background...
Who's going to name this beauty up front? Here's a hint... she was built in the early 1920's in the U.S.
Anyone?

She was built for Horace Dodge if I remember correctly, but for the life of me can't think of the name. Time for a google.

In the category of amazing coincidences, I'm watching a megayacht program on the Travel Channel right now. Just finished a segment with YF member Stan Antrim (Shadow) being interviewed and an upcoming segment will feature the largest steam driven yacht still afloat. |

The SS Delphine had a very interesting past.
I never get tired of this Travel Channel Episode on Megayachts, and am inspired by the magnificent restoration work done on SS Delphine by the current owner.
I don't smoke, but I absolutely admire the Smoking Room, with all the exquisite woodwork and huge leather-tooled chairs.
She is just breathtaking! |

Viking 58 must have gone fishing, so maybe Foundrycourt or Kiwispotter can go next?
