Off to Dubai....

I'm off to Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, UAE tomorrow morning.

Anything i should be looking out for locally? I've only got 4 days (and i am with the lady who NEEDS/WANTS to sit on the beach all day), so i am not able to travel around all that much.

I shall return with as many photos as possible and post them on webshots, but any advanced warning/info as to what i should look out for is much appreciated!! Will try and find anything/everything you can come up with!

Cheers!

John

Also just came back from Dubai.

Asked around to a BIG number of people that are in "yachting". Everyone heard about "Platinum", though no-one knows where in Dubai it's being built ... Did some serious driving around in the port-area, nothing to be found. Lost a full day of holiday and gained the "time-lost-in-sunny-place-better-spent-at-the-swimming-pool" discussion with wife

LOL!

In contrast to your significant other, there are a significant number of people here who really appreciate your attempt to strike Platinum. Thanks Steven!
