M/Y Dubai have 4x 4965Hp MTU engines
Exhaust system be in the days updated by norwegian company
Mecmar A/S. It will be a automatic controlled over-under water exhaust outlet.

Yacht has had major issues, but seems to be back on track. After ripping out what the German yard had completed prior to its shipment to Dubai they refitted with local skill which is believed to be a mistake. German yacht builders are quite good at what they do so ripping it out is a mystery. Rumor is that it lost a shaft/rudder on first sea trial. Have seen it on a recent holiday I can confirm it is huge. Shame it is unlikely to ever leave the gulf and any one else can see it.

Wow man for the shaft to fall out must have been that someone forgot those cuppling bolts I guess. The yacht looks awesome though,beautiful lines .Would not mind been the maintainace craftman there

The rumor is correct!!
During the first sea trial Dubai have lost the shaft/rudder and also there were a fire on board and engine room filled with water!!!
