Thanks Kevin... but I can't take credit for this.

Kudos go to all the guys on YachtForums that help keep us informed. Special thanks to Chobecat for his cooperation and for supplying an excellent set of images.

Basically, all I did was put a bounty on the pics and truthfully... it was the RIGHT thing to do. ALL of these guys bring a lot of information to the forum and it's the best way to show our apprecation.... with compensation!

Is there someone who knows how many persons it will be in the crew of this yacht? and will the owner of this yacht only use it for himself?

the cuts in the decks indicate that theres a swimming pool below the cut, it's for sunlight to reach it.

I saw the GA's on Platinum. You are almost right, it's for sunlight, but not for a pool... it's for an atrium between the decks.

Oh, I cannot wait to see some more shots of Platinum!!!! She looks huge but very cool!!!!

As far a crew goes: Paul Allen's Octopus has a crew of roughly 60....I bet that Platinum will have at least 100 crew plus whatever staff the owner(s) will need/want....

Looking forward to more images ASAP!!!!

Cheers,

Mark

ps...Carl, where can we mere mortal get a copy of the prizer calander you mentioned earlier???

Platinum News

Yesterday i had a chat with my Partner Company in Dubai and there is much work now on the Interior of the Yacht. Turkish Subcontractors and also the Company
who did the Interior of the well known 7* Hotel Bursh al Arab are involved in the design and it will be outstanding. Regarding the crew, we will have more than 100
Crew on Board in the Main season.
I attach a picture from the next Project a 80m Yacht also build in Dubai.
It seems that they are able to build a complete new yacht also and not only finishing a German Hull.

WOW!!

That monster under construction and behind the sheets sure looks like it is bigger than 80m!!!!!! Does it appear that Dubai is going to become the next big yacht building center???? Maybe if they start building numerous yachts, the companies could reduce the unemployment rates in other parts of Saudi Arabia and stop the many possible recruits for, ahhhh, a well despised group....

Please keep these type of pictures coming!!!!

Cheers,

Mark
