Seakeeper Gyro System. Any satisfied customers?

Dear Sir,Madam

Does anyone have experience with the gyro-stabilisation seakeeper on his/her boat and are you happy with this installation ? (rollreduction,sound,...)
I would be interrested to install this in a sunseeker predator 60.
Does any now what a new installation is costing in europe on a newbuilding boat of 33 ton ?

Friendly greetings,

Masters

I have never had any personal observations of the gyro systems, but I have been reading a lot about them in various magazines and have read nothing but positive reviews about them, the ease of installation, and the benefits that were seen immediately, even from seasoned boaters.

I think the best test would be to go for a ride on a vessel equipped with one & try the ride with it off and then with it on. I'm sure Seakeeper has some sort of testing display available, especially if they have the opportunity to sell a unit.

I spent a lot of time running a 60 Pred and have to ask, are you sure you even need to be stabelized? Lots of money and lots of space taken up, and the only time I was ever bothered was in about 7' head seas.

seakeeper

At the moment we have a sunseeker portofino 53,but we want to scale up to a 60'.With current boat when we are anchoring in a bay en often there is some swell coming from the south its not comfortobale on board, that's the reason we are thinking on a seakeeper stabilizer. When we are underway it is not a problem. But like I read in the magazines this would be increase the comfort and safety too.

greetings
