    Every 4 years the R du R is raced from St.Malo, France to Pointe a Pitre in the French West Indies, a trip of 3,500 miles. The big multihulls sail this in 7 and a half days, averaging almost 20 knots!

    There is a real mix of boats, from 40' upwards. Last time the first and second boats crossed the line only 25 minutes apart.

    The website is mostly in French but still interesting.
