    Hi everyone, I am a former member of the Coast Guard and have been asked be some friends to do some yacht searching for them. They are really not playing around, and since I am the only water oriented person they know they asked for some help. I have been running into some difficulty finding exactly what they are looking for. Their budget is somewhere in the ballpark of 1-1.5M and something in design category B and if possible A. If anyone can offer some advise It would be appreciated.

    Thanks K1W1. I have not seen those terms before. I think it is safe to assume the bold part below should read wind force 8:)

    Wind Farce is indeed a nautical term - it's what the South Florida newscasters use when there's a puff of wind somewhere off the coast of Africa. :D
