Honestly, I'm not "The YachtForums Guy" He's YachtForums (aka: Carl), and I'm just a regular old Joe (PropBet) who was lucky enough to score a polo type shirt with the YachtForums insignia on the chest.

    Backstory:
Waiting in the airport, I'm approached by a nice fellow who saw my shirt asking "Are you the guy who runs yachforums? The website? That site is awesome!"
I know it's awesome, I replied, but really, I'm not the guy who started or runs the site. Honest! I'm simply lucky enough to have an internet connection, and participate on the site as an owner and an enthusiast. As we talked further, about boats of course, he decided that I wasn't really the "YachtForums Guy", but was darn sure of it initially. None the less, glad you recognized the shirt, nice to have a chat with you, and hope you finally decide to sign up on the forum and get involved! Would love to hear more about your boat(s) and see some pics too!

    Cheers!

Have to watch what shirt you wear. :) My Coinjock T has gotten me into conversations as far away as Alaska.

It’s a small YF world! Be careful where you wear that shirt, Jasen. Not all YF followers are fans. I’m certain a few Bertram owners would like to feed me to a Prop. You can Bet on that. Pun intended.

Great pun indeed! Good laugh. Nicely done!

I wear it with pride! It was a first for me in that it's ever opened a conversation in public. Needless to say, it was a welcomed surprise and conversation.

How does one get a YF polo/shirt?

It could be a good wya to raise $ for the forum we all enjoy so much.

If this has been discussed before, I apologize.

We have dedicated, and way underpaid admins. No need to play Harri Christner at the airports. Oh, you were talking about selling them to members.:D A limited number we given out a long time ago to members who had big mouths (senior members).:D I consider it a collectors item one day to grace the halls of the Smithsonian, so if they do another round I hope they change the color or design. I'm counting on mine to finance my retirement.;)

HA! Mine has too. My last one was getting so worn out that last spring while driving to a wedding on the Outer Banks, I stopped by to see Lewis & grab two more.
