    How very sad for him, his family and all those who witnessed this accident. Horrible! If that safety harness failed someone needs to look into it. Too often though we get lax with safety procedures on jobs we do routinely. My personal screw up is shore power cords. Can't tell you how many time I've disconnected the cords from boats without shutting the breaker on the ped. Dumb!

    Very sad, thoughts go out to his family.
    Star of India is an icon of the San Diego waterfront. Perched on her dock with other ships of yesteryear close by and present day warships not far off, Star of India stands tall. I like to shoot around the area when I visit, and able to get these shots back in January of this year.
