How do you buy it? Where?

And if you're traveling? By helicopter?

    Sorry for my English...

    Hi,

You can buy wine from any number of sources ranging from wholesalers to retail outlets to gas stations.

As for transport I would say the main limitation to travel by kerosine budgie is weight. There may be further issues like landing tax free goods in the final destination etc but till you can give more info an accurate answer is not easy nor is it worthwhile explaining all scenarios.

    What is your service trust?

You buy it in person or entrusted to an e-commerce?

    I am undecided...

I'm asking what service you use.

If you have one in particular... One suggestion...

    Hi,

Don't spill your drinks if the next post from this particular thread starter starts out with a sales pitch.:D

Google Yachts & wine and you will find it.
vsfgroup with shops in the whole Med and overseas.

But the bigger problem with wine ( especially the old expensive ones ) on board is that they should not be shake in the waves. So buy and drink or buy zero speed stabilizers. I am not sure what is the cheaper way ?!

Also special wine refrigerators would be an advantage.

Hi! I registered today specifically to answer your question. I have had extreme success ordering wine off of one website in particular... www.SPAM-REMOVED.com They always offer great deals, especially if you buy in full cases. (This is what I do 'cause they offer 10% off or something like that.)

I have never had any problems and ordering on line always lets me try something new or find a bottle that i never seem to ever find in person.

Even if you don't go through the site that i personally like you should give online wine shopping a shot. It works really well and the prices are good too!

And a simple search reveals -

Nick works for DKS systems, a website developer who just happens to have the above removed vineyard as a client!

    Good bye!
  14. The best way to get wine on board is to take the yacht to San Francisco then rent a car to go to the Napa Valley. Tour the vineyards then take some back to the boat. Then head down the coast to Chile for some more vineyard tours and off to New Zealand then Australia. Then a cruise to the Med and on to the south of France with stops at all of the vineyards along the way.

    Hi,

Are you looking for crew for that trip? I have been to a lot of those places before so might be able to advise on local customs :)

Don't forget Long Island. We have some pretty good vinyards around the Sag Harbor area and you can easily spend a day or two tasting your way along the North & South Forks. Unless one is a wine snob it's best to enjoy the local fare whether it be food, wine or..... Just be careful in moonshine & white lightening territory.:)

    Cash and Carry.
San Diego, Orange County, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Oregon Coast, etc. The options are almost limitless on the West Coast.

East Coast, similar options in the North East as others have stated.

All of the wine we have on board is carry on simply because we know what / where to buy and when.

    Troll question perhaps..?

Anybody able to buy a yacht should be able to figure out how to buy wine as well as wipe their behinds without going Google or search on YachtForums.:(

You'd think, but he could be a non-wine drinker who likes his guests taken care of.
