| Fountain 52 sport fish
i saw a 52' fountain sport fishing boat for sale online a few months back and came across a few pictures on other websites, too. yet recently when i've searched online for information i can't find anything, there's not even any information about it on the fountain website. does anyone know anything about this boat? is it going into production? just curious if anyone knows. i was also hoping someone has some pictures of it to post. thanks.

I don't think Fountain has anything over 48 ft on their product line, which is the 48 sport cruiser. I believe the only fishing series boats they sell are center consoles. Unless ol' Reggie decided to step up into the sportfishers, those are all he has.

well that's not entirely accurate, they do make the 38 sportfish cruiser
the boat i saw looked very similar, only it was about 14 feet longer or so and had a tower

How sure are you that it was a Fountain? 52' is a big boat, I was looking around a little and Viking has a 52' open with a tower. Maybe you saw this one or another brand? If you did indeed see a 52' Fountain maybe it was a once off kind of thing? Here is the Viking...
Hmm, what do you think of the name on that one? Clever, but really?

nah, that's entirely different looking vessel there, the boat i saw had the distinct lines of a fountain, it must have been a one-off kind of deal and/or it's just a concept vessel

If you still really want to know, give Fountain a call! That would be the quickest way to find out.

When I googled Fountain Sport Fish 52 I found the following quote in an article:
Fountain Powerboats, with its 38' and 48' Express Cruisers, and the 52' Sport Fish Cruiser that will be introduced to the market October/November 2006, is poised with the right products to capitalize on this growth market.
It was found under:
FOUNTAIN POWERBOAT INDUSTRIES INC - FPB Annual Report (10-K) datd 9/22/06
It was supposed to be unveiled at the 2007 Miami Int. Boat Show.

So what was seen must have been the one off prototype.
