Yachting Developments finishes the Bristolian
Bristolian a 36.7m (120ft) Philippe Briand design was launched May 2008 after many maneuvers from the shed, to the barge, to the water where her 51m mast was stepped by Southern Spars and 2,684m² of sail wardrobe from Doyle Sails NZ were loaded.
She has a beam of 8.17m(26.8ft) draws 5.25m(17.2ft) with the keel fully lowered and 3.5m(11.5ft) with keel lifted and a displacement of 140 tonnes. Interior has been compiled by Emma Tabone, the Owner and Yachting Developments, featuring twin guest accommodation and owners cabin forward, Crew and Galley aft and plunge pool forward of the mast.
Another point of interest would be the 220kg 'Submarine' anchor and steering station pods giving crew direct access to galley and crew quarters. Bristolian will under go intensive systems and sea trials before heading off to Australia, Phuket then onto the med for Summer cruising.
