The first of a new pack of J-Class performance neo-classic sailers will debut in about a year’s time. The Lionheart will be sure to impress once delivered. According to Hoek Design, the Lionheart will carry the designation of JH1 on her mainsail. This neo-classic sailer is presently and well underway in the construction progress. After the Alustar hull is finished at the Bloemsma specialist yard, the finish will be the task of Claasen. All indicators point towards a delivery in 2009.
Although ideally envisioned to be a performance modern classic sailer, she will provide luxurious amenities and interior spaces to wow her owners. Thrown into the conceptualization of the design were provisions for large open regions, a deck house, cockpit and an owner’s cabin at the aft of the yacht.
Lionheart will have an overall length of 43.40 M or 143.22 feet. She will have a maximum beam of 6.55 M or 21.15 feet and will sit more than 4.50M or 14.85 feet in the water. This will ensure great center of gravity whilst in performance sailing mode.

LWL: 26.51M
BOA: 6.55M
