Pendennis yachts has been contracted this year to build a 97 foot long sail yacht for an experienced owner. The vessel will feature a sloop-rig and have three fore furlers. No more information has been divulged about this yacht.

"Wally B" has had a reduction in her asking price. She was being offered initally for 6.5 Million Euros but has just been reduced to 5.9 Million Euros. She is on the market through YCO

Pendinnis expansion plans are underway at the moment at the UK facility. Here is an exerpt from the Pendennis site.

Pendennis plans to expand its facilities once again with the addition of two brand new undercover spaces. These will provide extra flexibility for yachts up to 75m - either in refit or at advanced stages of construction - and will be completed by the end of November 2009.

Work has begun on the construction of the first of two new covered facilities for the yard. Measuring 55m (L) by 17m (H) by 16m (W), it will provide a flexible space for both refits and the completion of new build projects.

The first glimpse of the Ron Holland 150' interior has recently been revealed. Running in parallel with the fabrication programme, the final interior design detailing process is progressing well to the point that the crew quarters shop manufacture has also started. The rendering of the yachts interior show that the Owners have drawn their inspiration from the New England style, with classic white paneling teamed with dark Oak flooring complimented by polished nickel fixtures and fittings. She is due to be launched in Winter 2010.

Pendennis seems to have tweaked and optimized their website, the layout is slightly different and the PR is better than before. A step in the right direction I might say.
