I can e-mail the lot in the original size, and if anybody wants to re-size and add to this chapter, feel free to pick and paste.

(I took about 8 or 9 and they look a bit more "gloomy" than Capt Tom's pic.)

So, any volunteers, shoot me yer e-mail address in a PM and I will have 'em off to you.

(Been uploading pics to e-bay for years, and also e-mailed thousand of pics, not sure why I stubled on this one... )

After that slight I should leave you to twist , but I'm such a nice guy send them on. I'll do them when I get back from dinner.

Norseman,
Resize the pics and post them directly here. Don't put them to another site and link to them as the mods frown on links.
When posting a reply here, scroll down to the Manage Attachments button and upload that way.
Just make sure you make them small enough, JPG's should be less than 200 kb.

Ha-ha, not so...You seem to be one of the few around here with a sense of humor so, uh you can take those in stride.

(If you have been a Kiwi however... )

So, uh your e-mail is on yer profile?

If so, stay tuned..

Yeah you are right, I was not going to link, but downloading pics to this site, the system is asking for an URL or link to the pics, and not to yer computer like e-bay does, and a few other forums that will upload straight from your PC.

In other words: My pics are not on some photo-bucket or something, but a "members photo gallery" at a sailboat forum.. That forum however was not able to upload these Legacy pics due to size or some such thing.
(Yes I bought a new digital camera the other day, probably 20,000 times better than the old Sony 4.0 or something, but can't share due to size)

Stay tuned however, the New York man are-a-coming to the rescue..

Yeah, that was better, but rough looking Legacy.

Handyman special for sure, but most handymen don't have the millions to buy and the millions to finish the project.

Not sure that the rich guys would want to buy a fixer-upper and hire a bondo-man to finish her..

Here's a closer view of the chain that is holding up the keel. Working within the limitations, this is an interesting way of securing the chain, short of wrapping it over the house and around the entire yacht. Hey, if it works, why not. Reminds me of the days when I had to jury-rig trucks that broke down on the road to get them back to the shop.

Bet you got a different feeling looking at the truck chained together.

Sure do. The only place you want to see a chain on a yacht is connected to the anchor. On a truck, almost anywhere.

"Legacy" is really in bad shape. Is a luxury yacht to look like that....even with the worst years and neglect...sigh

considering what she's been thru... i wonder what the interior looks like and which systems are running.

obviously needs a complete refit... hard to believe it's been almost 4 years already. what year was she launched?

Hi,

What do you reckon the situation would be if she is left where she kays now and a Hurricane sends it back up on the sand again?

Maybe it would be removed with a gas torch and cranes the next time it happens.

Wouldn't the lawyers love that to happen.
