The latest news is that hull YD66 will be soon launching. Her launch is expected for early June. By the way, this is the same yacht that is "Q5". YF will keep you posted on when she does in fact launch.

Q5 has been brought out of her shed and her mast is waiting to be stepped. I noticed a stange looking device in the air above her.
Perhaps some sort of radio controlled hovercraft?
Super yacht news reported the following:
Auckland based boatyard Yachting Developments are putting the finishing touches to the super sailing catamaran Q5 (build number YD66) in preparation for her June launching. The yacht has just been rolled out of the company’s Hobsonville factory, giving a first glimpse of the vessels true size and volume.Measuring 30.48m in length and with a huge 14.63m beam, Q5 has been built by Yachting Developments using high strength weight saving composite materials to meet and exceed stringent GL class survey requirements.
The yacht's exterior is the work of Warwick Yacht Design, and she features an interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Q5's Southern Spars carbon fibre mast has now been fitted and tuned, sails have been made by Doyle NZ and will be fitted this week weather permitting.
Google "catamaran q5" then click on images https://www.google.com/search?q=Cata...w=1614&bih=996 for some very recent photos and renenderings of a very impressive yacht!

Disco, the Press Release is on Yachting Development's website. I suspect the 'flying bot' had a camera attached to it to possibly take the elevated photos!

"Quintaessential" (Q5)... Quote:
QUINTESSENTIAL” (a.k.a. Q5), managed by MCM, successfully enjoyed her maiden voyage to Fiji. This 30-metre composite sailing catamaran was built at Yachting Developments in New Zealand, with MCM acting on the owner’s behalf and now providing full ongoing management. Since her commissioning and sailing trials in the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland, where her Southern Spars carbon mast and Doyle Sails were tested, she has sailed her maiden voyage to the Pacific island of Fiji in great time. She left Auckland on Sunday afternoon and arrived in Fiji on Friday afternoon - covering 1,300 miles in five days Not a bad shakedown. The owner told MCM’s Peter Wilson:
“This is ridiculously nice!”
“This is just as I expected it to be – but better!”
“Quintessential”, designed by Warwick Yacht Design, has a beautiful teak interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon with accommodation for 10 guests and operates with six crew. The master cabin is situated on the main deck forward, which offers 180-degree views through the wrap-around windows. A short walk, via private access from this cabin, leads to the Jacuzzi located just forward.
The social areas are truly spectacular with spacious indoor/outdoor living between the main saloon and the aft cockpit complete with double-sided bar. There is satellite TV and broadband throughout the yacht including a fully reticulated movie and music distribution system controlled by iPads. She has a fully-enclosed bridge above the saloon which sports a host of the latest sailing instruments, navigation electronics and communications systems.
This yacht is a vacation resort unto herself with a sailing dinghy (a catamaran of course), 2 tenders, a jet-ski, 5 mountain bikes, 2 stand-up paddle boards, scuba gear, 2 carbon-fibre kayaks and a host of other amenities.

Yachting Developments in New Zealand don't only make yachts they make composite parts for other applications such as the ASB HQ in Auckland NZ. They did the sail-shaped reflector ontop the building...
