"M5" (ex. "Mirabella V")

Hey guys just informing those of you who do not know, the largest sloop in the world, has been renamed. Her name is now "M5", you might have known her as the "Mirabella V" when she was built. Her famous initial owner, Joe Vittoria sold her to the current owner mid last year. She is currently in Falmouth for refit to have somethings changed for her new owner's needs. She will emerge nearly a year later in 2013 where she is expected to be cruised heavily or returned to the charter market.

After the refit this will take some getting used to but I think it will be a nice look for her, opposite transom to what we been accustomed to. The new "M5".

I like the former transom more. This one is more for traditional hulls.

I think he has a important reason for this modification

But where are all the toys and tenders now? All on the foredeck?

If you look at the transom with the new mod you can make out that she will have a fold-down or up door, So I believe the main tender is still going to be stored in there.

Ah, yes! At the first look I saw a slim fold-out staircase. If I look more exact it is wider.

It's interesting that the image cuts off the bow... I think that transom will look awkward as part of the whole vessel.

I think it is not going to look as bad as we are thinking. It will be some getting used to but...we will see!

The mast has been taken out now so the refit is underway.
