CNB launches 30-meter sloop "Chrisco"
On May 5, 2009, CNB launched their latest project, a 30-meter long sloop called "Chrisco". The yacht was built as a composition of sandwich carbon balsa vinylester which makes for light and rigid construction. The mast and rig was quickly installed after launching.
Chrisco features a gray hull and black underwater area. Matching black mast and boom compliment the color scheme. Cleverly designed glass deckhouse filters daylight and provides the vital connection to the outside.
When the wind slows, there is a single 400 HP engine that can independently power the yacht or assist with the sails. A small yacht like the
Chrisco is very maneuverable especially with her 35 HP bowthruster. She has an interior by Wetzels Brown Partners and Naval Architecture by Luca Brenta & C. Yacht Designers.
