I read another internet board pretty often, there is a great community of sailors over there that is trying to mount a "viral" type campaign to pull together an America's Cup Challenges. It sounds far fetched, but I believe it could be pulled off with enough support. The first hurdle is getting accepted as a challenger, and they are looking for support from far and wide in the form of an online petition.
