Based on the well-designed hull and deck of the Lagoon Power 43 and it's proven success in the US market, the new Lagoon Power 44 is set to expand on the advantages of power cats. Lagoon has integrated numerous new features into the 44 design, such as an expanded flybridge area, redesigned helm stations on the flybridge and inside, a master stateroom with king-sized bed and separate shower and head compartments, enlarged sunbathing areas on both forward and aft cockpits, all coupled with an 18-20 knot cruising speed. Fuel economy, stability and simplicity are hallmarks of the cat concept.

The new flybridge arrangement provides three individual seats at the steering station, including a table that can seat up to six people, as well as four sunbathing pads. For safety at sea, flybridge access can be closed. At the helm station is a new instrument console capable of displaying 2 x 12" screens in addition to an autopilot remote, normal instrument display and VHF. The upper steering station will also continue to feature two engine panels (tachometer, fuel gauge, alarms), throttle controls, horn switch, windlass remote control switch, built will add a Plexiglas chart holder, drink holders and storage box, while three individual helm seats will replace the current bench seat.

The new salon features modified cushions that will provide a more comfortable salon couch. The current free-standing chairs will be replaced by directors' style foldable chairs. The salon table can serve as either a coffee table or large dining table and may also be moved to the cockpit. The interior steering station is now equipped with a Besenzonie adjustable pilot seat and designed to easily integrate your selction of electronic equipment.

Auxiliary power options have been simplified to include either a Yanmar 200HP, Yanmar 315HP, or a Volvo D6 310HP.
