On October 27th, 2006, Fincantieri Yachts and Benetti debuted their new 85-meter “Wave” design at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. This attractive new concept was developed for Fincantieri Yachts by Stefano Natucci, who played an important role in the development of many yachts built by Benetti.
The profile of the “Wave” project is meant to emulate a harmonious balance with the sea. Curved lines largely dominant the interior as well. An exclusive feature of the “Wave” project are the balconies complementing the owner’s suite and the guests cabins.
Two years ago, Fincantieri announced its entrance into the mega-yacht market with a strategic alliance with Benetti. Shortly after, a dedicated division with an in-house staff was created. Together with key international yachting partners, Fincantieri is pursuing excellence in the high-end yacht market, ion the same fashion in which they have become the world leader in cruise ship building.
