fiberglass problem

this weekend i removed my swim platform and found some pretty good cracks to where my engine bracket is attached to the transom. The cracks are below and above the waterline. Would the best way to repair this be west system, then to fill, fair, prime and paint.

Hi
Its a bit hard to say without a look can you either lode some pic on this site or email some to me. after ive had a look i can best advise next step, i.e. repair yourself or get the profesionals to do it
