Today, Saturday the 6th of October is a very special day for the people of Feadship Royal Van Lent. For them, this day marked the launch of the second semi-custom F45 model. This launch today represents the quality pace that Feadship is currently pushing. This second F45 succeeds the first launch of the series which was m/y Space. The second model of the series is called Harle. M/y Harle looks very similar to the m/y Space. She totes the same white hull and superstructure however, there is a minor difference in the window frame colors. Space features silver-grey window frames on the bridge-deck where as Harle has white window frames continually. Other minor differences include the color of the bootline. On the Space, the bootline is blue atop the black underwater hull. Whereas on the Harle it is a black bootline atop a black underwater hull. Off course, there is a difference in the names. Spaces' name is written in small font and made of stainless steel. On the Harle, her name is written in a large and aggressive black font. Other differences for now that we cannot see will be on the interior. Here are some specifications... LOA 44.65M or 146.60 feet BOA 9.20M or 30.20 feet Draft 2.70M or 8.10 feet Range Trans-Atlantic Engines 2 X MTU 12V 2000 M70 @ 788KW/1055BHP Speed 14.5 knots
Hey YachtLuver, here's some photos of her on launch day. Very nice. The series of hull windows are interesting. These are for the four extra berths on this level not usually seen on this size of yacht. I can imagine this will prove to be quite popular. Mod:s Note, pictures removed due to Copyright issues...

I'm not that big a fan of this type of photography but at least close up it looks decent. All sizes | Super Yacht 'Harle' | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
