Feadship sells new F45 megayacht to Chinese client
A Feadship F45 currently under construction has been sold in the recent past. In fact it was sold at the Hainan Rendezvous in April, 2012. Naval Architecture is by De Voogt Naval Architects while the interior is a collaboration between Sinot Design and Bannenberg & Rowell.
The Chinese client requested a change that will make this particular F45 different to the others that are sailing the world's oceans currently. They asked that a helicopter pad be constructed on the aft sun deck which will make her the only F45 to have a helipad to date. The lengthened upper deck overhangs also alters her aft deck profiles from what we are accustomed to.
On the inside hull 805 has five staterooms to accommodate ten guests. The sixth vessel in the F45 series will be powered by twin MTU engines to run at approximately 14.5-knots cruising with a trans-Atlantic range. The new Feadship F45 is expected to be delivered to her Chinese owner before the Chinese New Year in 2013. For more information:
