New Launch: Fairline Targa 47'

WORLD LAUNCH OF THE FAIRLINE TARGA 47 'GRAN TURISMO'

Fairline Boats is pleased to announce the intoduction of the new Targa 47 and Targa 47 GRAN TURISMO, which features a fully retractable hardtop.

The hallmarks of these classic long-range sports cruisers are spacious
cockpits, plentiful sunbathing areas and excellent sea keeping qualities.
The Targa 47 is a two-cabin model, with full en-suite in the guest
accommodation to provide the most spacious and luxurious accommodation in
its class. Expected speeds are 32-35 knots dependent on engine power.

Fairline Targa 47 details...

The new Targa 47 will be available in two versions as an open or hard top
configuration. The Targa 47 GRAN TURISMO will feature a powered
retractable hardtop allowing the cockpit area to be utilised more fully,
whether to shield from heat or inclement weather.

The open plan cockpit offers many attributes that owners aspire
to from this sought after model range; including ergonomically designed
helm positions, large comfortable dining seating and al fresco galley
arrangements, matched to fore and aft sunbathing areas.

Internal accommodation...

The interior has been designed with overnight accommodation for the owners' plus two guests - with both cabins featuring private en suites.

The luxuriously appointed Master Stateroom is positioned forward with considerable natural light from the twin portholes and deck hatch, providing a bright and airy cabin with generous stowage including a full-height hanging locker. A luxuriously appointed full-size en suite with separate shower adjoins the cabin.

The twin guest cabin is amidships with ample stowage that also includes a
hanging wardrobe. Generous opening portholes provide natural daylight and
the guest accommodation is completed by a private en suite with separate
shower. Both cabins and ensuites are exceedingly generous and class leading.

Salan...

The main saloon has comfortable seating for six and a state of the art entertainment console including LCD television, radio, and CD changer. Both this and the comprehensively equipped galley with hob, microwave, full height fridge/freezer, extractor fan and teak and holly floor are accessed directly from the cockpit.

Cockpit and Helm Position...

With the focus on al fresco entertaining, the new Targa 47 will feature
the most generous cockpit layout to date.

A J-shaped settee is positioned alongside the horizontally adjustable double bolstered helm seat providing seating for two. Once at anchor, the cockpit area is perfect for al fresco dining with wrap-around seating for six to eight, featuring a sink with hot and cold water, refrigerator, insulated coolbox and where requested an electric griddle.

A transom gate leads to the integral teak-laid bathing platform with
shower and concealed bathing platform ladder. Access is given to the
tender garage capable of accommodating a RIB or PWC. Generous side-decks
with solid handrails afford easy access to the foredeck, where expensive
coachroof sun cushions provide for relaxation.

Diesel engines available from launch will be Volvo TAMD 75P 480mhp with
further engine upgrades planned in the near future.

As with all of the boats in the Fairline Targa range the Olesinski hull
has been designed for fast passage making and provides safe and
comfortable sea keeping.
