1988 39 Midnight Express - SOLD!

This 1988 39 Midnight Express Interceptor is A rare find at a rare price! You will not find a matching boat in specs, design or equipment in the world! This is not your average Midnight Express center console by a long shot. This is a 39 Interceptor used by the US Government, therefore no expense was spared in equipping and powering this vessel. With “(4)” 2001 MERCURY 225 OUTBOARDS reaching speeds well over 80 MPH; this is the fastest, meanest and sleekest outboard console vessel on the water! Whether it’s fishing, diving or transporting, with a 600 gallon fuel capacity she has enough range to take you where you want and as fast as you can get there. Again, this is a 39 Midnight Express “Interceptor” used by US Customs to track and capture some of the fastest vessels on the water! In addition to the government upgrades, she has had over $70,000 worth of electronic upgrades and modifications. She has (3) 15 inch Raymarine color monitors on both consoles and the forward cuddy, which are wired to a DVD player and a sea vision underwater camera which can be displayed on all 3 screens! Just to name a few of her upgrades and updates, she has a 5KW A/C Coolmate (Air Conditioning), Raymarine 10KW Open Array Radar 4’ Array, a 2KW Transducer, Raystar 125 GPS Beacon, Raymarine DSM 300, Navionics Nav Chip Platinum Edition, 2 Raymarine E120 Multifunction Machines, TR1 Autopilot with wireless remote, a Raymarine High Speed Crossover, and full lighting with Sea Vision underwater lights, 2 LED lights under the leaning post and 6 Perko round courtesy lights. On deck the 4 original Government Issue hydraulic chairs have been replaced with high-end dual console seats both equipped with rod holders and bait/lure storage. Still have the original hydraulic chairs all in good condition and included with the boat. The 39 Midnight Express also has direct fuel path controls on deck allowing for “on the fly” fuel delivery. The original T-Top overhang has been customized providing an open cockpit for easier fishing and additional rocket launchers. In addition to her unique deck set up and electronics, her Deep-V bottom is as good as the day she was launched and built with re-enforced Kevlar strong enough to stop a bullet (literally). As an ex-government vessel this 1988 39 Midnight Express Interceptor was constantly and meticulously serviced for top performance. The boat has had continued high level of care, and she has a full time mechanic. This 39 Interceptor is truly amazing and one of a kind. This is a true enthusiast’s dream and there will be no better time to buy, because she is priced for quick sale. If you are looking to fish at any level, dive or just want to make a long trip a heck of a lot shorter you will love this boat, and will be raising eyebrows and turning heads every where you take her. Serious inquiries may be accommodated with preliminary sea trial for quicker sale. Tri-axle aluminum trailer is also included in asking.

I apologize, this is the only posting where you have to include the price in the body of the description. I forget every time. The "asking" price is $163,000 and I'll bet the government would pay the gas but it would come back to us somehow. Thanks for the reminder!
