CRN Presence at 2006 Monaco Show

Ancona, 7 June 2006...

CRN Shipyard is planning an unprecedented appearance for the 2006 Monaco Show. The Ancona shipyard, part of the Ferretti Group, will have 3 vessels on display: a 40 metre (128’ Custom) in composite, and the latest models in steel and aluminium: the 54m M/Y “Ability” and the 60m M/Y “GiVi”. This cross section of yachts bears witness to CRN's growth in recent years, specifically in the 40 to 80 metre range, in which 5 steel vessels between 54m and 72m are currently under construction, in addition to the production of the 40 m (128’ Custom) and 43m (Navetta 43) in composite.

Here's a sneak preview of CRN's presence at Monaco this year...

The 60 metre M/Y “GiVi” was launched on the 8 July and will re-enter from its summer cruise especially to attend the Monaco Show. The yacht, designed by Studio Zuccon International Project in collaboration with technical staff of the CRN shipyard, is conceived to host up to 16 passengers and 20 crewmembers to whom the entire lower deck is dedicated. A distinguishing characteristic of this mega yacht, shared with M/Y “Ability”, is the stern swimming deck located on the lower deck, but also accessible from the main deck. An area of well being of around 24m complete with Turkish Bath expresses the ultimate concept of “wellness within wellness”.

Next to GiVi will be the motoryacht “Ability”. A continuation of the collaboration between the Studio Zuccon International Project and the shipyard, this 54-metre displacement yacht in steel and aluminium offers splendid lines and balanced proportions. Ability is highlighted by an innovative "well-being" area conceived as a true and proper spa complete with sauna, Turkish bath and a gym. An exclusive balcony off the ship-owners suite further enhances the experience aboard this yacht. And finally, the interior is characterised by a taste of deco, retouched with an nfluence almost imperial. Pecious wood burls embellish the setting, enriched by the liberal use of velvet and silk, leather and skins with exclusive and sought after accessories.

CRN continues to refine the 128’ Custom, a 40m long composite yacht. Once again, the successful collaboration between the technical team at CRN and the Studio Zuccon International Project, the composite line boasts unique characteristics in the world of pleasure yachts. The vessel offers three covered decks and an innovative garage with lateral opening for the tender. The Custom line planing hulls are capable of cruising at a speed of 24 knots, while hosting twelve guests and eight crewmembers.
