The newly designed transom features a garage door, a swim ladder, a larger cockpit area and results in a generous dining area with a novel aft-facing sun-sofa. The revamped design also upgrades the flybridge, where a new relaxation area has been included in the forward area.
The new Cutom Line 97’ has a hard top with a central opening. Sun or shade can be chosen by opening or closing the aperture, giving greater flexibility to the flybridge.
Owners can choose between two engine options. The Custom Line 97’ is equipped with two MTU 16v 2000 M93 1790 kW engines and can reach a maximum speed of 29 knots (at half load) and a cruising speed of 27 knots. An engine option of two MTU 16v 2000 M91 1470 kW is also available. Possibly the most incredible feature of these vessels is are the four Mitsubishi ARG (Anti Rolling Gyros) installed in the engine room.
As with all other Custom Line maxi-yachts with planing hulls, the hull design allows the vessel to travel at displacement speeds, between 12 and 14 knots, whilst maintaining trim and reducing fuel consumption on extended voyages.
The increasing requirements of ever more demanding owners has led to extensive research by the team at CRN, who are proud to present this newly refined yacht.
