Crescent Yachts

Wondering if any members have any direct knowledge of the builder above ? Especially the 112. Their segment on here is a little light which is understandable as they closed-changed hands a while back. I'm interested in ride, build quality, range, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I ran a 117' Crescent for about a year. The original Crescents were based on the Westport hull (which were wet) and the last few were on there own new hull design. I thought that they were a great boat and are finished off much better than the Westports, which is why they were alot more exspensive.
If you need more input or info PM me and I will be glad to help you.

Hi Irish Wake,

Crescent is back up and running and is currently in the final stretches of "crossing the T's and dotting the i's " on a new build contract which will be a much larger vessel than any previous Crescent.

You can contact me via PM and I'll bring you up to speed as I am "very" closely connected to the yard

So Crescent is back in business?
Is it on Mitchell Isl. or Maple Ridge?

Both. The hull mold is still at Mitchell Island and will remain there, all other operations are in Maple Ridge

so who is running crescent now??

I know that Jack is out of the picture.. did his kids take it up or did they sell it off??

At any rate they built a good product and were improving with every new boat.

To My understanding, Crescent is now under the Queenship umbrella managed by Jim Hawkins in Maple Ridge. It seems that the old Crescent yard on Mitchell Island is more foucussed on repair & maintenance now, yet run by members of the Charles family.

It is good to see them back in production..

Jim Hawkins was an old crescent hand.. i wonder how much of the original workforce will stay at or go to the new Crescent?

The Crescent "Silver Fox" is now up for sale. She is for sale through Westport's sales team and is asking 3.955-Million USD.
