Codecasa designs Vintage 42-meter yacht
Classic lines and retro look combine with state-of-the-art technology to result in a design that pays homage to the past without compromising present-day comfort. This design is enveloped in the new work by Codecasa in the Vintage 42-meter motor yacht.
A healthy overall beam of 9-meters accentuates the open atmosphere in accommodation areas like the master and guest staterooms. Her high tensile steel hull sits 2.40-meters below the water at full load. Additionally, whilst at anchor, Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers keep her quiet affording comfortable relaxation.
Her aluminum superstructure houses spaces like the main saloon and sky lounge. Not to forget the open exterior deck spaces provided by the forward of center placement of the upper deck.
Capable of a maximum speed of 17 knots and an economical range of 4,000 nautical miles, she can be considered a distance cruiser. Her 2 X CAT 3512B (1650 Hp @ 1800 rpm) engines facilitate the power and economy to endure. With 60,000 LT at the disposal of the captain, a comfortable course can be chartered.
The 390 tonne full displacement new design is to meet the following stipulations: Lloyd's Register of Shipping Maltese Cross 100 A1 SSC Mono G6 Maltese Cross LMC/MCA Compliance.
