Biggest Chris Craft

What was the biggest Chris Craft built?

Is there any plan to go larger on the current range?

Is the quality of the current Chris Crafts as good as expected?

Thanks for any info

Largest Chris-Craft built

I have read that they did produce three 63' Motor Yachts in 1953-54; the actual length of these hulls was 62' 7". I don't know about larger models, but anyone who has access to the Chris-Craft "Guide" can easily look it up.

According to "Chris Craft The Essential Guide" the largest wood build was a 66'10" Constellation (5 built) 1960-1961. The largest fiberglass was a 60'10" Commander (9 built) 1969-1970. The big daddy of them all- 74' Roamer with an 18'3" beam in Aluminum, (3 built) in 1977.

Largest Chris-Craft built

I have just read that the largest yachts built by Chris-Craft were 74 feet in length; they were built by the Roamer Division of Chris-Craft in two styles in 1977.
Chris-Craft Roamer also built a 68' aluminum hulled yacht in 1978. Later, 10' was added to the stern at Rybovitch to create a 78' craft. It is currently for sale for $449K in Ft. Lauderdale.
There is a report of an 85' Chris-Craft, apparently also for sale.

I'm looking for pictures of the engine room/area of the 53-54 Chris Craft 63' Motor yacht. If anyone knows of one of these yachts still around or has the pics I need I'd be very grateful for a contact. Thanks. pete
