We have a 1962 - 44' Roamer and have had oler Chris Crafts for 20+ years.

We have the Chris Craft Essential Guide. Your hull # is indeed a 1968 57' Roamer. In 1968 (3) were built, yours being # 1. Reference page 612. In all, CC built (27) 57' boats between 1965 and 1968, which was the last year.

The book states 68,830 # 700 Gallons fuel, 250 gallons water, Factory colors were Blue on White with a red waterline.

Base engines were 8V-71N GM diesels.
