   We are hauling out for a survey. The boat yard has asked if we know where the strap placement is. Anyone?

   Find a different boat yard. That should be an easy boat to haul. If they're asking that kind of question, I would perhaps consider that a red flag.

   I think they just want to be sure. It is a large yard that specializes in sail.

   Sounds like a smart CYA question. I wouldn't read too much into it. They'll eyeball the location, but if the locations are marked it makes it safer. We all remember the Marques doing the nose dive.
