Shaft & Rudder Isolation

We'll be doing the hull this spring and on top of the blasting/etching/priming/painting confusion we will be isolating the shafts and rudders as they were not originally isolated from the factory. The question here is how do the rudders get isolated with the mechanical steering setup? Also there is a grease fitting at the bottom of the rudder log - what type of grease is to be used here? Is there any concern for type of grease given that it will contact the aluminum rudder log and the stainless steel rudder shaft? Will this create a conductive connection?

On my 46 Roamer, there is a grease fitting near the bottom of the rudder log. Good luck getting to it. If you have stainless rudders, you're in good shape since stainless and Al play fairly well together. My rudders were plain steel and GAWD are they stuck in place!
