Have you ever replaced a faucet in the sink at home?
It isn't very different as unless it's a hand pump type one you will probably find the same thing at your local Home Depot.
They generally either have a large nut that goes over a threaded section or a collar that is held up by screws.
Get right under there with a flashlight and have a look. You should be able to buy the spanner to fit the big nut at a plumbing shop or Home Depot.
Don't forget to turn off the water before you start to loosen off the pipes!
