It is a 1974 60 footer. One of twelve delivered of this type. There were supposed to be 20 total.

Welcome to RoamerWorld. Will you keep it on Lake Guntersville? I have a steel 38 Roamer at Alreds.

    She's a beauty!

Last thing I said on our thread.. "38 Restoration" was to have someone load a big one on the Thread and tell a story.. hope you will load it on our thread too!

I will have to check out yours next time I am in Guntersville.

I moved her to Nickajack for now. It is not too far from my house in Mcminnville. They have to get me under cover.

Wow, so you are the one that bought her. I was going to go to Gunnersville and look at her when the weather broke. She looks to be a fine boat and I know you would't buy her if she wasn't. Congrats and let me know if you get up the Knoxville.

    Excellent! Gotta love those Detroits.

I've always wondered about the layout on the widebody 60s. Do you have split engine rooms ala Hatteras?

That's Great. I plan to be there. Let me know if you need anything up here and I will help anyway I can. It does get pretty wild sometimes. Kinda of like the Chattanooga River Bend Festival. If you want to spend some time in Knoxville after the game, you might want to rent out a covered slip at Volunteer Marina. Some people like to go to Gatlinburg for a night or two and their is a great restaurant, Ruth Kress Steak House, within walking distance from the U.T. Docks. Kinda of Pricey but really good. I will send you my contact info if you want me to. Congrats again on you beautiful Roamer. (Copy Cat)

Please pm me that contact info. That sounds good.

Also let me know if you come down to Chattanooga. I love going downtown for the evening.

Ok. I will send it. I would really like to go to Chattanooga this summer. I have moved the boat from Concord Marina to Ft. Loudon Marina, next to Ft. Loudon Dam. Maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle and talk Roamers. Both of these marinas have web sites.
